Good Evening Camden...I've Come as a Gay Sailor

So the morning of the big gig (underworld w/ Peacocks), I awake with the realisation of -

a) Broken pick up, that sounds like an old man throwing up when moved, and...
b) Bridge Droop (bit like brewers Droop), so my wood didn't get wood, anyway it was fucked

But to my aid came Ben from Hot Rocket Trio fame lending me his bass, strings, pick up and even re stringing it for me... Ben = Hero.

Low Points -

- 9 hrs of driving with stress fractures of my 2nd and 3rd meta tarsals, left foot
- Before the final 3 hrs of driving Colliding with Greg mid jump ending with him punting me...in the left foot.
- fucking up the route home and going through central london
- no one bothering to program common sense into my new sat nav


High Points -

- Spending time with Ben & the band
- Playing a fucking awesome show
- Watching the Peacocks
- Having two feet

Up North Strike One...

So last night we were scheduled to play in Leeds, unfortunately this didn't happen.

For anyone who works and is in a band it soon becomes apparent how precious holiday is and how little you have to play with, and unfortunately a couple of us wasted some yesterday, this got me thinking how easy it must be to play in a band in say America where apart from the odd hurricane the weather is generally quiet predictable, and what do bands do in severe weather countries where they could be potentially stuck in snow drifts and the like, anyway i digress...

Apologies to Jordan, and anyone who came to see us we will make it up North at some point...

And So It Begins...

We are a 4 piece rock n roll punk band that are lucky enough to have an album coming out on the 14th April

It is not a major label, we have no manager, or a van (currently), no Jo Whiley voiced TV ads, no fathers or friends in influential musical positions or bands and hardly any contacts, so pretty much like everyone else.

But what we do have is an awesome live show and some fucking awesome songs

So the members of the band (Greg, Chris, Rob and Me) will all contribute to give those of you that are interested/bored a little insight into the trials and tribulations of how we get on...
